We’ve reinvented the internship—ripping up the rule book to create the most exciting way to explore Europe while gaining lifelong skills. This program is designed for young people ready to be treated like adults, develop independence, and embrace challenges that will shape their personal and professional futures.
Over 11 unforgettable weeks, participants will journey through six captivating European countries. Begin by living like a local in the charming coastal town of Portrush, Ireland, and then travel to iconic cities such as London, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Lyon before concluding in the picturesque landscapes of Provence. Along the way, you’ll engage in real-world projects , guided by expert mentors, TEDx partners, and industry leaders.
Beyond professional development, this semester offers an immersive experience like no other—explore Europe’s cultural and historical treasures, savor local cuisine, and soak in the vibrancy of each destination. Whether navigating bustling cities or relaxing on the rugged Irish coast, this program is a true catalyst for growth, adventure, and lifelong memories.

Northern Ireland
8am – Your program leaders will meet you at the house to discuss the day ahead. You’ll have already enjoyed a delicious breakfast, prepared by yourselves, to fuel up for a busy day.
9am – Work on your project: Start your day by gathering footage from some of Northern Ireland's most breathtaking cliff drops and coastal views. This footage will be used by Tourism Northern Ireland, allowing you to contribute to a real-world project while exploring the incredible landscapes that inspire the region.
2pm – Lunch.
3pm – Visit to the Giant's Causeway: Just a few miles away, immerse yourself in this world-famous landscape steeped in myths and legends, drawing creative inspiration from its stunning formations.
6pm – Group dinner: Prepare and cook your own dinner, with each participant expected to know how to cook at least three dishes. Guided by your Europe Gap Year leaders, you'll work together to create a delicious meal and enjoy the satisfaction of cooking as a team.
7pm – Free time to relax or explore the local area.
Germany
8am – Wake up in the vibrant city of Berlin, surrounded by international travelers. Berlin is an extraordinary city with a rich history and dynamic energy.
9am – Walking tour of Berlin: Discover the city's historical landmarks, including the Brandenburg Gate and Checkpoint Charlie, while learning about Berlin’s fascinating past.
2pm – Free time for lunch, with countless options to enjoy diverse cuisine from all over the world.
3pm – Cultural talk with a local guide: Dive into Berlin's multicultural scene, exploring the influence of immigration and how it shapes the city’s identity.
6pm – Enjoy a German-themed dinner, reflecting on the day's experiences and the local culture, prepared and cooked by you and your group.
7pm – Free time to unwind or further explore this captivating city.
